Alfaro began growing coffee near the village Ataco, a Nahuatl
Indian word meaning "site of elevated springs."
Four
generations later, the Alfaro family continues this coffee-growing
tradition, creating exceptional coffee at their El Carmen Estate
Farm and mill, while promoting social and economic development
in the Ataco area.
