Since 1885, the Pacas family has grown coffee on the high volcanic slopes of the
Apaneca - Ilamatepec range. Towering Bourbon Coffee plants– some 90 years old- flourish on 13 family-owned farms. Dense stands of native trees provide shade for the coffee and habitat for wildlife. For the Pacas family and their employees, “coffee is life”.
